Words and Brushes
Words and Brushes is a project that brings together writers and artists. Writers will write a short story based on a chosen artwork and use their imagination to create a story inspired by that piece. Nicholas, are most of these in the U.K? Are they open to United States writers too?
I’m afraid you’ll have to check with the individual organizers, but several of these are aimed at the US. Have you had a look at the full list on Almond Press’s site?
Great list, Nicholas, and all looming dates! I need to build a backlog of short stories… eventually 🙂
A pleasure! Best of luck if you participate in any of these 🙂
Nice to read about more writing competitions. I currently have a non-fiction piece nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
Best wishes, Pete.
Yay! Best of luck, Pete 🙂
