Quirky Claus meets gnomes, an annoyed reindeer, an agitated armadillo, and a cute wombat. Oh, and did I mention the penguins, sharks, fish, and other critters?
Quirky Claus: The Masterfully Madcap Mishaps of an Impossibly Incompetent SantaΒ by Sebastian White is a great little children’s book. The story took the traditional take on Santa and did a brilliant, hilarious spin. As for the art, it’s excellent. Beautiful and fun, it captured and enhanced the unique spirit of the book. You may wish to keep it in mind for your Christmas shopping!
These make me happy just to see them!

Adding it to the pile. π
I bought it last year, so for once I’m ahead π
Just the right amount of colour, action, and humour to delight a young child, not forgetting the parent whose lap they’re sitting on! …Brings back happy memories π
Lol – sure does π
This looks like a fun book to enjoy with young school aged children.
Yes, it would appeal to their mischievous nature π
Looks really good, Nicholas. The artwork reminds me a lot of the ‘Tintin’ books.
Best wishes, Pete.
Good point – it does resemble the clean lines of the Belgian school. Thank you π
Thanks guys… had not even thought of this!
Someone else pointed at to me some time ago, that the characters remind them of the relationship Dastardedly and Muttley of whom I am big fans, and which was not intentional!
