Two free online magazines are asking for submissions and looking for new subscribers. If you’re not familiar with them, they’re well worth checking out!
Writer’s Grapevine
The first one is Writer’s Grapevine, created by Patty Fletcher. As I told her when she sent me a copy of her magazine:
Thank you so much for the Writer’s Grapevine copy! I’m humbled by how much you all do. And, while all articles were amazing, I particularly loved Phyllis’ one on harmony and Trish’s tale of the two cousins, which was fun and sweet.
The writer’s Grapevine is a monthly news and literary magazine featuring Writers, Small Business, and Nonprofits. In each issue, you will find a variety of Articles, Essays, Short Stories, and Poems for your enjoyment.
Trish Hubschman reviewed it as follows:
Three words: I love it! I look forward to reading The Writers Grapevine every month, in fact, I read June’s issue the day after it was posted. Patty adds a special touch to the magazine that I’ve never seen done before. She introduces the next act on the playbill and comments on each piece afterward. It’s as if she’s sitting beside me and we’re chatting. This makes me smile! The same holds true for the contributor letters. It’s as if the writers are talking directly to the readers. It gives a warm and personal touch.
Check out back issues for free on the Writer’s Grapevine website.
