This year, the wee one is old enough to understand Santa Claus. I explained that people believe that Santa flies through the world on Christmas Eve, comes through the chimneys, and delivers toys to all the children.
Being her mom’s daughter (Electra’s an economist by training), Natalie’s first reaction was:
And who pays for all those toys?
Her second reaction was:
Who washes his clothes? They must be filthy from all those chimneys. His washing machine must be huuuuge! Wow…
In that light, I give you a hilarious Infographic which shows why Santa Claus has the most dangerous job in the world, courtesy of Piktochart.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Your daughter’s comments are precious! She has a great future ahead of her. I hope your Christmas was merry.
Natalie caught a bug on her last day of (pre)school, so we had to cancel our Christmas plans. But we spent the day together, so that’e pretty much all I need to have a great time π
Such a clever child, lol. Happy holidays to you and yours Nicholas. π
She’s one smart cookie! Hope you had a lovely Christmas, Debby π
A great Christmas post, Nicholas. The wee one is very smart, and practical. Hope your Christmas was a good one. Happy New Year! π₯³ Christine
Thank you so much, Christina! Hope you had a lovely one π
And yes, the wee one’s quite the character. I weep for the unfortunate boy who will catch her eye–the poor lad won’t know what hit him π
Merry Christmas to you and yours, Nicholas
Thank you so much, John! Hope you had a lovely one π
Hilarious! Merry Christmas.
Thank you so much, Mary! Hope you had a lovely one π
Natalie is one smart cookie – not a lot of kids would make comments about the cost of presents or Santa’s filthy clothes from all the visits down chimneys, lol π Merry Christmas Nicholas to you and your family – God bless
She sure is, Catherine! No wonder she has us wrapped around her little finger π
Merry Christmas to you and yours, Catherine π
Previous message seems to have got lost so at risk of repetition wanted to with you, Electra and Natalie a very happy Christmas and express appreciation for keeping many of us on the writing road with endless help and advice. Thank you Nicholas
