Twice Upon a Time: Has Anyone Seen Santa?

Marina Gioti - Santa | From the blog of Nicholas C. Rossis, author of science fiction, the Pearseus epic fantasy series and children's bookA fantastical adventure to the North Pole!

There are two sides to every story. Santa’s story, both as you know it and…as you don’t! It is the night before Christmas, and intrepid detective Filbert Numbscull refuses to let it pass without finding out the truth: what’s going on with Santa Claus? Does he exist, or not? Even if he does, flying reindeer or not, how can one person give away gifts to every child on the planet on a single night? And how does he get down the chimney given his… rather ample proportions? Or, how about this: how does he know who’s been naughty and who’s been nice?

Following the other successful books in her celebrated series Twice Upon a Time (Little Red Riding Hood, Little Thumb, and Cinderella), Marina Gioti embarks on an adventure at the very heart of Christmas. So, what do we say to our children when they ask us about Santa Claus? A book about the importance of faith, the power of giving, and the true meaning of Christmas.

The perfect Christmas gift! Free until the month’s end on Amazon.

Cave of Silence

Kostas Krommydas Cave of Silence | From the blog of Nicholas C. Rossis, author of science fiction, the Pearseus epic fantasy series and children's books

A Love So Strong, It Ripples Through The Ages

Dimitri, a young actor, is enjoying the lucky break of his life—a part in an international production shot on an idyllic Greek island and a romance with Anita, his beautiful co-star. When his uncle dies, he has one last wish: that Dimitri scatters his ashes on the island of his birthplace. At first, Dimitri welcomes this opportunity to shed some light on his family’s history—a history clouded in secrecy. But why does his mother beg him to hide his identity once there?

Dimitri discovers that the past casts long shadows onto the present when his visit sparks a chain of events that gradually reveal the island’s dark secrets; secrets kept hidden for far too long. Based on true events, the Cave Of Silence moves seamlessly between past and present to spin a tale of love, passion, betrayal, and cruelty. Dimitris and Anita may be done with the past. But is the past done with them?

“The reader… watches the plot’s rapid twists and turns unfold through the artfully chosen sentences crafted by this young writer”. Manos Eleftheriou, author
