Since 2014, I have published almost 1,500 posts on my blog. I am grateful to you all, not just for your visits and comments, but also for letting me be part of such an awesome writing community.
When I first published my books, I could never have imagined the level of support I would get from so many people. People who rapidly went from virtual (pun intended) strangers to close friends.
Through the years, a great number of you have told me how much this blog has helped you with your own book marketing or writing.
That gave me an idea. Today, Iβd like to hear a little more about you. That way, I can better tailor my posts to your needs, instead of writing about whatever tickles my fancy. So, if you could answer four simple questions, youβd be helping me help you more.

Thanks for asking for input, Nicholas. For me, I am always interested in anything that helps me get better as a writer and also industry news.
Thanks for the detailed response, Jan π
I don’t read too many Non-fiction novels, but my only reason I can say is, because I just love a made-up Historical or Western Romance novels. Hopefully I will try non-fiction novels during my Holiday breaks away from screaming kids!!
Thank you for the detailed response π
I absolutely loved A Heaven For Toasters. It was my escape from my hectic life & I found myself rooting for the “toaster”. Please please continue their story!
You have no idea how much I needed to hear that! Thank you for making y day π
I like any of your posts about marketing, amazon ads, anything to do with business. God help me, but I’ve been trying to learns CSS (which, as you’ll know, are Cascading Style Sheets). They help you arrange your website exactly as you want it, though I haven’t yet been brave enough to try it on mine-scared it’ll go haywire!
That’s great! I use CSS and html all the time. No matter how user-friendly WordPress is, there are some things you simply can’t do without them π
I find everything interesting. Thank you for taking the time to put your newsletter together.
Thank you so much, Kay π
I voted again. π
Best wishes, Pete.
Lol–sorry for the trouble! Thank you, Pete π
Hi Nicholas
I am especially interested in your historical posts featuring old books and manuscripts.
Those are my favorite, too! Thank you, Veronica. Stay tuned for the 9th, you’ll love my upcoming Titanic feature π
I look forward to that.
I lived in Halifax for a few years and wrote a ghost story (full length novel) after visiting the Halifax Museum’s Titanic exhibit. It was inspired by the celebrated grave of the unknown child (Halifax’s Titanic Cemetery) and a pair of children’s shoes from the Titanic displayed in a glass case.
Thank you for your in-depth research, and especially, the images that accompany your historical posts.

Because of Amazon’s news, I had to push the post to the 17th. I hope you won’t miss it!
Great poll. I can see how you may want to tailor certain content from it. π
These are always instructive! I’m looking forward to the final results π
Nicholas: I learn so much from your tips about writing and your info blogs. It’s straight talk with no frills. Love ’em.
