How fun was this? Wasn’t Virginia Wolfe ahead of the times with the standup desk? LOL 🙂
Lol-quite so. I realized after reading someone’s comment that she was just one of many to do so!
🙂
Love the quirks of all of the famous writers! I can now embrace my own quirks without guilt. Thanks for sharing. Give a high five to Perro.
Yep, guilt-free quirks. That’s me.
He’s actually on my lap as I type this, purring away. He says thanks 🙂
Wow, this is really interesting. What fun. Thank you, Nicholas.
We’re a strange lot 🙂
Thanks for this interesting and entertaining post, Nicholas. 🙂 — Suzanne
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
This was a very entertains post. We all have our quirks but it’s great to here how the famous did it.
Plus, I can now feel less guilty about my own quirks 😀
Oh, the oddities of artists. ^_^
Lol-tell me about it 😀
🙂
Mmmm, I don’t think I’m going to feel the same way about apples after reading about the author who loved sticking them in drawers and letting them rot, not to mention Agatha Christie’s bath-time obsession with them while looking at murderous photographs, lol – wonderful post Nicholas 🙂
Lol-I know what you mean 😀
Maybe I need a quirk, to be more successful?
So, I tried drinking two bottles of red wine before writing this comment.
That was at 2 pm, and I have just woken up with my face on the keyboard. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Lol-sounds like the perfect quirk, if you ask me 😀
