Thanks to a scheduling cockup, my Thanksgiving special wasn’t published in time. Apologies for that. I would have wished you a happy Thanksgiving. Instead, I guess I will have to opt for wishing you aren’t suffering from indigestion today.
The most important thing in my mind, though, was to share my gratitude for you. Since I first posted my first post back in February 2014, my blog and mirror blog have grown to thousands of followers and hundreds of daily views. Thank you for sharing your journeys with me and allowing me to share mine with you. You guys are the best and I’m grateful for each and every one of you!
I hope it was a terrific Thanksgiving for you and yours. Hugs!
Thank you, Teagan! It was a normal day for us, as Thanksgiving isn’t celebrated in Greece. We did have a nice chat with the missus about all things we were grateful about, though 🙂
Sorry, your location slipped my mind. I suppose you just seem so near. Cheers.
I was flattered that you thought that, actually 🙂
Thank you, Nicholas and likewise! May the year ahead bring you health, love, joy, abundance, good friends and the wisdom to continue appreciating all that is part of your life. Hugs.
What a lovely wish, thank you! I wish for you everything you wish for yourself.
Thank you!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you, Jacquie 🙂
It was not a festive Thanksgiving for me. I was informed via email that a good friend of mine (since 1991, when we met in Millau, France) had passed on November 18th. He was the administrator of a hospital in Bad Salzuflen, Germany, had driven me to Berlin (1994), and later visited me with his wife here in Las Vegas (I don’t recall the year). Thanks to him, I attended a formal dinner with hospital personnel from both Bad Salzuflen and Millau (sister cities), canoed the Tarn River (successfully), and played soccer for the first and only time in my life (scoring for the German team). I’d always hoped to return to Detmold, where he lived, but never could afford to do so. Thanks to the belated email from his family, which arrived on Thanksgiving Day, the holiday was a very sad one for me…
I’m so sorry to hear that! My condolences on the loss of what sounds like a wonderful friend 🙁
Thank you! I sadly didn’t have room for pie. 😀
Oh no! Well, tomorrow’s another day 😀
Happy belated Thanksgiving, very glad to have “met” you! -Anna
Thank you so much, Anna! The feeling is mutual 😀
Happy belated Thanksgiving, Nicholas! Wishing you all the best. I had a lovely time yesterday with good friends, old and new, and ate so much delicious food that I think I will spend all day today trying to walk it off. 🙂
Lol – I know the feeling–and thanks! 😀
Thank you Nicholas, Wishing you and your family the blessings of fortune throughout the year! <3
Thank you so much, Luna 🙂
Thanks, Nicholas. All the best. 🙂 — Suzanne
Thank you so much for your friendship, Suzanne 🙂
Is it really only since 2014? It feels as if you have been around forever, Nicholas.
Thanks are due to you in return, for a wealth of tips, advice, and information.
Not to mention some enjoyable reading of your published work too. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Thank you so much, Pete! Time sure does fly when you’re having fun 😀
Wishing you a harvest of blessings, good health and good times. Happy Thanksgiving day!
Thank you, Mihran 🙂
