As you may have noticed from the header banner, today is the first day of my Short Story Bonanza. Until Monday, 21st, you can read Infinite Waters: 9+1 Speculative Fiction Short Stories for free.
But wait- there’s more! You can also buy The Power of Six: 6+1 Science Fiction Short Stories for only 99c.
What People Say About My Short Stories
“Philosophical ideas woven into science-fiction stories that read like classic stories by the masters, often with a delightful, thought-provoking and unexpected twist at the end.”
~ Jamie Maltman
“Phil K. Dick is up on a cloud laughing with glee.”
~ Ryan Schneider
“I found myself looking forward to coming home so I could dig into the next story. Each story pulls you in to its unique little universe and takes you on a ride where the tracks are hidden, and you can’t see the corners up ahead.”
~ Nat Russo
Nonlocal Science Fiction Magazine Issue 3 Launch
In other exciting news, Issue 3 of the excellent Nonlocal Science Fiction Magazine has new been officially launched! Even better, I have a limited number of review copies, courtesy of publisher Dan Dombrowski. If you’re interested in getting one, just leave a comment and I’ll send it your way.
Although it doesn’t include any of my stories, it’s chock-full with great short stories to please any sci-fi fan.
I hope you took advantage of last week’s offer to read Issues 1 & 2 for only 99c, which should leave you all caught up for Issue #3.
Please help share the news. I wish you all happy reading!
Didn’t told you I downloaded the book. And true, I’m not really a SF reader… but I will read your stories. Just wait, and see 😉
Yay! Don’t worry, I’m sure that you won’t even notice the SF element 😀

Just downloaded, after receiving the invite on Goodreads. 🙂
Aw, thank you so much! You rock 🙂
Some really awesome reviews you have there for your amazing books! I’ve downloaded it and will read it as and when time allows.
All the very best for this Bonanza (BTW I love this idea 🙂 )
Have a great day!
Thank you so very much – and welcome 🙂
🙂
You’re killin’ it too, Nicholas! It seems all my pals are on fire lately. Woot!
Aw, you! Thanks 🙂
(P.S. An interesting three-part article about Philip K. Dick, to whom you’ve been compared, can be found at https://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/05/20/philip-k-dick-sci-fi-philosopher-part-1/?_r=0.)
Lol – whoever compared me to Dick (I think it was Ryan) was being really nice. I do love his work, though. A timely post, as I’m slogging through his Exegesis.
I think of Dick as a prophet, in the Biblical sense. He describes the events surrounding 2-3-74 in detail there, and references them constantly. It’s his most fascinating work, in a sense!
I’ve been looking for a copy of his Exegesis! I’ll likely have to special order it, as our libraries don’t carry it. Yes, despite the somewhat disparaging tone of this article about Dick’s personal life and philosophy, I’ve always loved his writing, so it’s definitely a compliment to be compared to him. A prophet? Well, many sci fi writers of the past have written of things that have come to pass, and one wonders how they could foresee the times ahead so clearly. Personally, I enjoy your approach of combining mythology and historical events with the future, because human nature is such that things do tend to occur in cycles. (Orthogonal time?)
Thanks 🙂 The Hindus have something similar to Orthogonal time, of course 🙂
Actually, I use the word prophet in every sense of the word. Yes, he foretold things. But he also believed he was in touch with a higher plane of existence or deity, whatever that might be. And he shared information from said plane with the rest of the world – or at least he believed so.
Hence, prophet 🙂
I’d buy them if I hadn’t already done so. I’ve also been following the Nonlocal Science Fiction Magazine. If you have any review copies in e-format, I’d be interested in reading it and writing a review of the magazine thus far.
Congratulations on the excellent reviews of your short stories!
Of course! I’ll email you a copy right away 🙂
And many, many thanks for all your help and support 🙂
Thanks, Nicholas. 🙂
I downloaded both books and will read after several other books. Look forward to them both! I am sure they will be wonderful! Hugs!
Thank you so much!! 🙂
Will finish book 1 of Pearseus first and a few other authors before I began your new ones. Hugs!
That is sweet; thanks 🙂
I picked up infinite waters last month. Now I have to make time to read it and write a review.
Woo hoo – thank you so much for that! I hope you enjoy it 🙂
I am going to read your stuff and check out your words!

Check out these short story collections by Nicholas Rossis. They are well worth reading and the books are on sale. Who doesn’t love a sale? 🙂
These books now have a permanent home on my Kindle. The Pearseus series sounds very interesting too; I love Greek mythology. 🙂 I will read Pearseus ASAP.
Aw, thanks for making my day! 😀
I already have them, Nicholas. Great books. I hope the promo goes well!
Thank you so much, D 🙂

You are welcome!
I already had them, but I can vouch for them as awesome books. I chose Pearseus as my prize during my RRBC member of the week promo. It’s a few books out on my reading pile though.
Wow, that’s so incredibly kind of you! Thank you! BTW, I’m in the middle of writing my Notebook review. 5*, as expected 🙂
That makes me excited, but even more so to know you enjoyed it.
Loved it 🙂
I just got my copies from Amazon, and will be reading them this weekend. (Going on a business trip.) Hopefully, I can put up reviews next weeks.
Naturally, I’ll also be spreading the news about these. Hope you have a bonanza of new readers!
Woo hoo – thanks! I hope you enjoy my stories 🙂
