Those more perceptive among you may have noticed the updated book cover on the right for Pearseus: Mad Water, the second book in myΒ epic fantasy series, Pearseus. Once again, the redesign has been by the very talented Alexios Saskalidis of 187designz.
For those who have read the story, the background represents the red leather coat worn by Teo Altman when he storms Ephia.
To celebrate, I’ll send a free copy to anyone who’s read Rise of the Prince andΒ wishes to find out what happens next! Just leave a commentΒ asking for it, and I’ll get right on it.
Smashing cover!
Yay! Thanks π
I liked the original, but I have to agree that this one has a lot of impact.
Best wishes, Pete.
That’s so good to hear; thank you, Pete π
Great cover. Really professional. Lovely job!
Thank you! So good to hear you say that π

The new cover is great! Color is perfect – really stands out! Just started reading Book 1. Best wishes for much success!
Yay! Thank you π
Reading book 1 now! I like it!
*big hug*
Absolutely gorgeous cover!
Thanks so much, Nat! π
Looks good but I need to read the 1st book
I’d be happy to send you a complimentary copy, if you wish π
Wow that’s very kind but you should be paid for your work so I’ll download it from amazon tonight
An even bigger thank-you hug for you, then! π
Just down loaded it, a barging at 99p! Might be a while before I read it thou. Quite a few books to get through
Sigh… tell me about it…
Thank you so much for downloading it!! You’re my new best friend π
Thanks now you will have to buy my book if it ever gets finished! I actually wrote a reading list this morning I now have so many to read
It’s a deal π
Wow, what a fantastic cover! It’s so alluring and it makes me want to touch it. Well done. π
That’s wonderful to hear; thank you π
Nice cover. The Title and images really pop. And how could someone have read the first and not finished the series? I HAD to read them back to back to know what would happen next. Too fun to stop in the middle. π
Aw, that’s so kind of you! Thanks for making my day π
Love the cover!
So good to hear; thank you π
Wow. That’s the best cover yet. Really stunning, eye-popping, love it.
Really? Thank you so much for that! π
Looks fantastic, Nicholas – you must be so pleased! I’ve yet to finish Rise of the Prince – my reading has fallen by the wayside as I work through the edit for my second book, and I have a rather large pile of reading waiting for me when I finish! Hope all is well with you π
Thanks! No worries about Rise; I know first-hand how busy we get with our books π
Oh, I’ll get through it eventually – I need to know what happens at the end! π
Oh, that’s easy. The butler did it. Oh, wait…
π
Love it, Nicholas!! Alex just worked another miracle! I love the red that telegraphs danger (apologies to MM Jaye but I am color-blind, LOL), and the glints on the various features, the golden scales… those represent justice, power and wealth even. PERFECT for your book! Well done and happy selling π
Thank you! π

Awesome new cover and a deal for anyone who’s already read Rise of the Prince.
Love it! I was always fond of “Ξ³ΞΊΟΡνά” but all I hear of in Greek is “ΞΌΟΞΏΟΞ½ΟΟ” (I have no idea what the shades are called in English). Now that’s the kind of “Ξ³ΞΊΟΡνά” I truly love!
Lol – I’m a man. I call it “red” π
It’s not red! The color of Olympiakos is red! *shivers* It’s the difference between “Ξ΅ΟΟ ΞΈΟΟ” and “ΟΞΏΟΟΟ ΟΟ”.
Unless you give it to me in RGB, I see the world in red, blue and green hues… π
It looks great Nick! Got more of a fantasy feel about it.
Ah, so good to hear that. It’s been one of the things I was trying to fix. Someone said that Rise could be a legal thriller, and I’ve been worried about that ever since π
Yeah that would be the wrong impression. I could see why they would think that with the scales, but really, it just doest have that feel.
Thanks for the reassurance π
The cover looks great, Nicholas. I’ll tweet it out there for you.
Yay! Big hug π
Welcome π
Love it!
Yay! Thanks π
Love the new cover – it really pops π
That’s so good to hear! I was afraid it might be too dark.
