You may remember Daniel Dombrowski of the Nonlocal Science Fiction Magazine. The first issue includes a story by me, called “Shoot the devil.”
Daniel has now kindly interviewed me for his podcast, Quantum Flux. You can listen to the interview below, or on his page!
I could listen to that accent all day. I kept thinking, if someone played me your voice and asked me who it was I would have no idea. Funny how you think you know a person without ever hearing their voice. It’s an interesting premise. Yup, you’ve got my creative wheels turning now. Anyway, your books sound fascinating, and you sounded so natural and laid back. Great job!
Lol – that’s so sweet of you! Thanks 🙂
I grew up with aux pairs around, which is how I ended up bilingual. One was Irish; the other Australian; the third one English. Then, I moved to Edinburgh, where I picked the Scottish lilt. Hence my weird accent. BTW, many think It’s Dutch, for some reason.
I know nothing at all about sci-fi, but it was very good to hear your voice Nicholas, and a good interview too.
Best wishes, Pete.
Aw, that’s so kind of you. Thank you! To be honest, I couldn’t bring myself to listening to the whole thing, as I cringe whenever I hear my accent 😀
