Okay, seriously: how cool is that?
Evi Vatidou won the title of Miss Greece 1999 and is mother of two children. She is one of the best-known Greek celebrities, who began her career in modeling. She moved later into media and has appeared on several television shows nationwide, hosting some of them.
My company, Istomedia, is currently developing her new blog, due to be published officially in a couple of weeks. During our collaboration, we’ve become friends, and I gave her the other day Runaway Smile for her children. Today, she sent me this picture of her, reading the book. Isn’t that nice?
Why not do it like Evi and read my children’s book, Runaway Smile? It’s free!
Congratulations for gaining a new (and supermodel) reader! Way to go!
Lol – thanks! 🙂
Nicholas, you should get an endorsement from her and use it to market the Greek version of your book! That’s really cool 🙂
Not a bad idea, thanks 🙂
Congrats Nicholas. She definitely has good taste in books.
Such a sweet thing to say, thank you 🙂
You’re welcome.
That is soooo cool! Congratulations! 🙂
Yes, it is! Thanks 🙂
Hi Nicholas, over here in New Zealand we have one word for this: choice (cool). Congradulations – you’ve really made it now you’ve got celebs. reading your books – best wishes for your writing career 🙂
Lol – if only it were that easy! 😀 But I appreciate the sentiment, thanks 🙂
Who wouldn’t enjoy reading ‘Runaway Smile’? It’s still my favorite!
Aw, thank you so much! 🙂
BTW, I’m halfway through Closer Together and it’s great. I hope to finish it during the weekend 🙂
Very cool! Congrats!
Thanks! 🙂
What? Famous people need an escape, too, and it’s our job to provide it.
Well done, Nicholas!
— John
Thank you! 🙂
Pretty cool, my friend. Use that picture everywhere! I’d send you a picture of me reading it, but it probably wouldn’t draw much of a crowd. LOL
You need a Pinterest button for times like this.
Ah, where’s a Pinterest board when you need one… 🙂
Lol – maybe not, but it’d be very special to me. So, please go ahead! 🙂
A.w.e.s.o.m.e. 😀
What – the news, or Evi? 😀
The whole shebang! 😀 It’s pretty exciting.
Well she’s not attractive at all.
Ahem.
<<< Floundering around desperately for my own Supermodel!
Lol – yes, the poor thing 😀
Nicholas, congratulations! That rocks! Great “super star” marketing shot! Christine
Well, Evi is the second superstar to read my book, of course – after you 🙂
Wow…thanks for remembering, Nicholas! Those superstar modeling/Loyalty Day Queen days were a long time ago! But, I could provide a photo of the Young Woman from Tanagra (elegant statue) gazing transfixed at the creative, colorful Runaway Smile book cover! :)) Christine
Lol – sounds great, although a simple one of the current you reading it – even online – would be even better 🙂
Hmmm…I’ll give that some thought! Pretty nice of you to suggest that! The old grandmother me in good light might work. :)) Christine
Lol – nonsense. I see a stunning woman in your photos, that has evolved from an equally stunning girl 🙂
Nicholas, you sure know how to give compliments that count! Lucky women, felines & canines (all ages) in your life. Model mind at work – stage photo, make-up & dress-up. Better yet, reader mind at work – book cover up front and top of a head. Eyes actually reading the book. :)) Christine
Lol – thanks.
I was thinking back to when we first connected. You had nominated me for two awards, and I was checking out your page. I had your (current) photo on screen when Electra passed by.
“What a beautiful woman,” she said.
“Yes,” I agreed. “No wonder she was a model.” I then opened your billboard photo. “That’s her. Such a pretty girl. And so sweet – it’s a rare combination!”
“Such a beautiful woman,” she repeated 🙂
Blushing at the thoughtful recognition! Tell Electra thank you, and that was my comment, “such a beautiful woman” when I saw her photo on the Awards Page. Plus the flower head band and smile fit a happy, instantly likable person. Reminded me of younger, carefree days! Especially those 5 years that I lived in Greece. A time of artistic (writing, painting) adventure, and island travel. Still feel happily connected to Greece – by you, your family, your blog, your photos, your writing. Huge thank you! Christine
Aw, so sweet! Thank you 🙂
Great post, Nick – Congratulations!
Thanks! Lovely to see you here Bro 🙂
That’s really cool.
I know, right?? 😀
Pretty cool.
Right?? 😀
Beauty and the Greek (author) – CONGRATULATIONS Nicholas 😀
Lol – thanks, Chris! 😀
