When we returned from Edinburgh, friends would ask why we left Scotland. We always pointed at the sun (an almost permanent feature in Athens) and the nearest souvlaki place – there’s one in every corner, nowadays. 🙂
And I left central France and its sunshine in favour of the cold mists of home… 🙂
Weather permitting, I’ll be in Scotland in January. Perfect time for a road trip! 🙂
