Am I the only one who’s fascinated (and maybe a little worried) by how people interpret my work?

Haha no, you’re not the only one. I’ve found myself slightly altering the plot for fear that I would be accused of doctrinal inaccuracy (I’m working on YA speculative fiction with Christian themes).
If only there was a way to put in a disclaimer in the beginning…
Oooh, doctrinal inaccuracy sounds scary. I invented a new religion for Pearseus precisely because the fantasy setting allowed me to circumvent all that! What’s your book?
It’s a work in progress, about a teen girl with an extraordinary gift despite the fact that she has a serious mental illness. I think if I invented a new religion, I would still be blamed for inciting idolatry lol. Gotta be careful with that too!
Sounds great. Is it published yet? Any links?
nope, not published yet (thanks for asking though!). The only link I can give you is to my blog, but you’re already following me 🙂
