HunterSJones wrote a nice post that questions three common accusations again Indie authors.  I agree with her on most counts, with the exception of sloppy editing, which in many cases makes a book unreadable.

I cringed when I found out Rise of the Prince still had a dozen typos (now fixed), but in a book of 400 pages I hope they didn’t cause too much trouble. Then I was forwarded a manuscript to beta-read, with that number of typos on the first two pages!  I had to choose between doing the line editing myself or asking the author to send me a new copy, once he had line-edited it properly.
